I feel like a number with the front office. This survey is case in point...I didn't go to the appointment. I didn't know I had an appointment and wouldn't have booked on the week of my cruise. Tried calling after alert...5 times with 3 no answers ans 2 answers where I was told please hold and was left hanging for 5 minutes each. I was in Puerto Rico desperately trying to change the app and had to give up. I will undoubtedly be charged or no show. Dr Burris is great, the office not so much.

I know it is hard on the doctor as well as the patient to wait so long before being seen. A 2 hour wait is not good.
I felt I was not given clear discharge instructions for what meds to take and when. I'm still not sure. My family says one thing and I say another. I'm working hard to improve my health but running into road blocks.
I do feel Dr Yalvac is trying to help me but at the moment he is overworked!

Dr. Eslami is an exceptional Doctor and Cardiologist. Because I have kidney disease he is careful not to use more contrast than required. I have been under the care of numerous doctors and he is the best. I trust him completely. I highly recommend him. Tom

If you are an old Asian female patient, I suggest that you avoid this doctor. Maybe he is one of those specialists who just emotionlessly hurries you along unless you are a ‘value’ patient. Both visits he was cold and indifferent like stone. He has this condescending and dismissal demeanor that makes you feel that you are just there to waste his time. Coldest doctor I have ever met in my entire life. Maybe I do not have a real serious condition, maybe I am just an old Asian female, I could not fathom why he has such an attitude. I am new to Hoag for about 6 months. So far all other doctors have been nice. He is a very unpleasant exception. I am changing specialist.

Dr.Burris ,the negative Google review I gave you was taken down because you reported it. If you care so much about your review, please read the review from a patient named Aimee S. on this website on November 6, 2023. It said that Dr. Burris " spent a significant amount of time on my case, exploring possible scenario to ensure a high percentage of success for my case. It was apparent that he is also very well respected by his colleagues and hospital staff where he is known to be very meticulous in his work." ——1. What kind of patient would know so clearly you spent a lot of time on her case? 2. Is this patient a staff of your practice? How did she know so well that you are respected by your colleagues and hospital staff?Dr. Burris , do you think this patient Aimee S. made you happy by giving you fabricated fake good reviews?
